News & Special Events MESSAGE FROM THE REVD FRANY LONG Frany Long was licensed as Priest- in-Charge of the parishes of St Swithun's, Purley and St Mark's, Woodcote in February and is now well established in both parishes. In the Summer 2008 Newsletter to every household in the Parish of St Swithun, Frany send the following message: Hi! My name is Frany Long and I’m your new Priest in
Charge at St. Swithun’s Church. I hope
that in the coming months I will get to meet some of you as our paths cross,
not only within St. Swithun’s but also at various meetings, schools, functions
and occasions out in the parish. St. Swithun’s plays an important role within
the life of our community. It is a growing and active church with an exciting
future and stands as a beacon of hope and a sign of Gods love here in Purley.
It is your church and whether you regularly come to services on a Sunday, use
the hall once a week, want to have your child baptised, or just pass the church
