As part of our mission to the local community, we welcome a wide range of users to the Hall, including dancing classes for all ages, table tennis clubs, keep fit classes, language classes, dog training classes, an amateur radio group, bridge events, martial arts etc. The Hall is also available for private children's parties.
St Swithun’s Hall has been refurbished throughout to a very high standard (see photographs) and comprises a kitchen with large cooker, fridge-freezer and hot water urn. A newly constructed lobby area provides easy wheelchair access and a new toilet block provides disabled facilities. Completing the refurbishment was the installation of new radiators, with safety covers, that creates a warm and cosy environment for hall users on the coldest winter’s day. A large room off the main hall can also be hired separately.
Parking, including two disabled bays, is available without charge outside the Hall or the Church in Grovelands Road and on Downlands Road.
